Phewf, two months working on set during one of the Phewf, two months working on set during one of the hottest summers ☀️ I had zero weddings between Dec-March, so took the opportunity as a 3rd AD on a fabulous production. I can't say much more than that, except it was a role that gave me so much experience with industry giants. Here's a tiny excerpt from their ceremony: "Alyce loves that Simon is very patient and knows how to navigate her through her stress and flusters. Except for that one time that Alyce got particularly flustered at Westfield shopping centre trying to park – despite Simon’s most charming and thoughtful guidance into the park from outside the car, Alyce did not like that park and drove off to the next level - without Simon. Yet Alyce has learned the joys of being patient from Simon; if he is telling a good story, he is oblivious to any pressures and makes sure to give the long version. Alyce can fondly remember one time when Luke and Chloe were having a gathering and Simon and Alyce were supposed to be helping – Chloe was hurrying Simon to shuck the oysters as the rest of lunch was ready, but he took his time and shucked those oysters perfectly. Yes, it can be frustrating, but this characteristic is something Alyce loves because it also makes Simon the generous person he is. If he sees someone that needs his help, he is never too busy for them. Simon adores Alyce, he loves that she is always excited to see him, and they both feel like they can never have enough time together, purely because they have so much fun when the other is around. So, of course, this electricity led to his proposal, and this moment; their wedding. Jordan + Georgia planned their wedding at the beac Jordan + Georgia planned their wedding at the beach but epic storms rolled in and their reception venue transformed into their ceremony location, overlooking the water and keeping everyone cosy. These two adore each other - Jordan planned the perfect proposal secreted away in a hotel room at the Windsor Hotel, when Georgia was at her most vulnerable after a stint of night shifts. He crouched down beside her, all shaky, and said “I’m very nervous,” as he pulled out his Ring to Rule Them All. The rest was happy tears and history. I think Georgia really admires Jordan’s ability to entertain; despite his best attempts to sing along to songs when they’re driving in the car, he never quite gets the lyrics--Jordan isn’t put off, though, and instead makes up his own. Georgia loves this unexpected confidence and creativity. He has even been known to re-word Christmas carols exclusively with swear words. Jordan adores Georgia's little dances and hand gestures, particularly her T rex arms, and her happy dance when she’s eating food that “slaps” particularly good.
